THE LIGHTHOUSE

The Lighthouse

beams its light

out to sea,

<=>

to light up

the atmosphere,

so that,

we might see.

<=>

Its light rays

stream

through the fog,

<=>

chasing shadows away,

<=>

past the peat

and

the bog.

<=>

It shines

through the mists

and

through the rain.

<=>

The light

reaches onward

<=>

to make things clear

and

plain.

<=>

The light is bright

in the dark

of the night.

<=>

The light shines

upon

the watery waves.

<=>

The light

shines in

some darkened caves.

<=>

The light spins

around

and

around.

<=>

The light shines over

the water and ground.

<=>

The light is a beacon

to help us navigate

<=>

where we are going

that our passage

may be straight.

<=>

The lighthouse

shines light

to give us

direction.

<=>

The light

from the lighthouse

provides us protection.
